WEDDINGS AT ESHOTT HALL
We have several areas licensed for civil ceremonies and civil partnerships within Eshott Hall. One of the most popular locations is beneath the William Morris stained glass window with your guests looking on from the Hallway, which can accommodate 80 guests comfortably. The Drawing Room and Library are also licensed for small, intimate ceremonies accommodating 70 and 60 respectively. For larger numbers, the Ballroom is also licensed. To arrange your civil ceremony, please contact the local Registrar on 01665 602 870 or visit them at Alnwick Register Office, 27 Fenkle Street, Alnwick NE66 1HW. Any music or readings during the ceremony are to contain no religious content. No food or drink may be served or consumed in the ceremony space for 1 hour prior to the ceremony.
our Wedding Breakfast and Reception will be held in the Ballroom and adjoining Orangery, which has a capacity for a maximum of 100 guests for the Wedding Breakfast and 120 for the Evening Reception. We will provide round tables to seat up to 10 guests per table, a top table if required and banqueting chairs. Your bar is set up in the Orangery and your band or DJ will play in the Ballroom later so we can remove some tables and chairs to create space for dancing if necessary.
We are proud of the fine dining experience offered at Eshott Hall and our Head Chef, Chris Wood, offers flexible wedding menus which are carefully selected to use as much seasonal and local produce as possible. If you decide to book Eshott Hall as your wedding venue, Chris will take time to discuss the menu options with you and create the meal you want, giving you a tasting so you are reassured that your guests will get the best on your special day.
DRINKS AND BAR
We offer a good wine list and can create bespoke drinks packages for your guests throughout the day. We have a bar located in the Orangery, which stocks the usual beers, wines, spirits and soft drinks at reasonable prices. Please note, we are licensed to serve until 11.30pm.
